Watercourse Installer's Course

Service Description

This two-part course includes an online portion and a field session. The online portion will go over the types of in-stream restoration structures, their purposes and benefits, and the rules and regulations of altering streamcourses in Nova Scotia. The online portion must be completed before the in-field session and participants are required to pass the online exam prior to completion. During the field session, participants will install a digger log or other in-stream structure. Field sessions are held regionally so participants may be require to drive a distance to attend the nearest session.
